DESCRIPTION

If you own an Akai EWI Solo and a Hercules instrument stand, you’ve probably noticed that nothing in the Akai ecosystem was designed to actually hold it upright. That’s exactly why I built this. The adapter comes with a custom-designed threaded knob that screws directly into the threaded hole on your Hercules stand — the same hole where a peg would normally go. No peg needed. Just thread it in, mount the adapter, and your EWI Solo is secure and ready to play.

Most competing designs require you to already own the Hercules DS502B peg — an extra accessory you’d have to buy separately. This one doesn’t. The custom knob is included, and it threads straight into any compatible Hercules stand. It’s a cleaner, simpler solution.

Each adapter is 3D printed by hand right here in the USA from PLA+ — a tough, heat-resistant thermoplastic that holds its shape whether it’s sitting in a cool studio or a warm rehearsal room. Designed specifically for the EWI Solo’s geometry, the fit is exact, not approximate.
